Quiz Bowl Prep, LLC is dedicated to giving back.


We have two giveaway opportunities for middle schools and elementary schools.  There is no cost to participate and no advantage is given to subscribers of Quiz Bowl Prep.  The odds of winning are based upon the number of entries.  The contest is open to schools that enroll students below grade 9th grade.  (K-8, 7-12, 6-8, 5-8, K-12 are examples of eligible schools that can participate.)


Giveaway #1

We will provide $100 of seed money to one school to start a new quiz bowl team of students below 9th grade. 

-To enter, send a color 3x5 index card in an envelope to Quiz Bowl Prep postmarked between September 1st, 2010 and December 31, 2010.

-Include the school name, address, phone number, and email on the index card
-The building principal or district administrator must include a letter verifying that the school will start a new Quiz Bowl Team before January 1, 2012.
-Include the school name, address, phone number, and email on the index card.
-Each school building may enter only once, any school that sends more than one entry will be disqualified.
-The winning school will be notified by January 31, 2011, with payment to follow by March 1st, 2011.


Giveaway #2

We will provide 3 awards of $50 to current quiz bowl teams below 9th grade.  Use the money for a party, entry fees, buzzers, or any need that you see fit. 

-To enter, send a white 3x5 index card in an envelope to Quiz Bowl Prep postmarked between September 1st, 2010 and December 31, 2010.

-Include the school name, address, phone number, and email on the index card
-Each school building may enter only once, any school that sends more than one entry will be disqualified.
-The winning school will be notified by January 31, 2011, with payment to follow by March 1, 2011.

-Quiz Bowl is defined a team of students answering questions against another team with a buzzer system.  Similar names include, but are not limited to: In the Know, Quick Response, Scholastic Bowl, Academic Team, Academic Challenge, Brain Bowl, Knowledge Bowl
